Jake is one of the three puppies stayed home from our Fala's and Rowtag's Happy Feet-litter, born 7.8.2023. After litter theme Happy Feet we named all puppies after different stones and jewelry and this boy is named as Obsidian, as he is one of the darkest puppies in this litter. Calling name Jake is from movie Blues Brother, because Pekka had decided earlier, that male puppy who stays at home will be Elwood and of course, when there was two boys staying, they are Jake and Elwood.

Jake's parents are our import male Cahppes Amazing Ace Archie and our home bred Tsaani Kivliktuk Quvianuq. They had 11 puppies, 5 girls and 6 boys, and it wasn't easy to pick the boy we want to stay at home. Finally somehow this boy won our heart being such an interesting character and we decided to keep two boys at home. Jake seems to be quite clever, lively and happy boy. In sledding he is very eager and hardworking boy and his style is referring possible new weight puller to our team.

Jake has been checked to be healthy in hips, elbows, spine and eyes. In DNA-tests he is also healthy with Alaskan malamute Polyneuropatia, Cone Degeneration, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. Jake is normal coated but carries long coat gene.
