Notte has arrived to our pack in April 2021 all the way from Italy, from the outskirts of Milan. Notte's official name is Paha Sapa Mals Loto and his nickname is Notte. Notte means night in Italian, and it felt suitable for the finnish mouths, so it then became a nice nickname for a dark agouti boy. During the Covid-19 period, importing from abroad was quite a project, but luckily everything went well and we got this Italian charmer as to our delight!


Notte's parents are Paw Paws Paha Sapa Of Tribal Laws "Poe" and Multi CH Paha Sapa Mals Koko "Kiki" Both parents have healthy eyes, hips and elbows and both are also PN free. The reason for importing Notte from Italy is in its pedigree: The pedigree of Notte is the last of the purest existing lines of Kotzebue Malamutes, Kotzebue 65.62% M'Loot 31.87% Hinman-Irwin 2.51%. This lineage has always been that very interesting and desirable addition to our breeding plans and maybe now with Notte we will get that side strengthened more.

Notte has show great potential in sledding and he is awesome mover! In his first Official Weight Pull Test he got result KVK3 (approved), and can now attend in Working class in Shows. In Finnish Malamute Specialty Show 2024 Notte was 3rd in big Working Class and he got CQ and very nice critique from breeder judge Rita Liebrand. He was also selected one of qualifiers for Best Head and Best Movement-competition. In Shows he has gained Finnish Champion-title. Externally, his development took time, but becoming Finnish Champion was quite easy. We look forward to Notte’s future. In winter season 2025-2026 Notte did race in Ukkohalla-Paljakka Ajot MD4-class (2 x 32 km), but unfortunately after that he injured his paw and his season ended. Hopefully he will recover before next season and can attend races and working tests next season.

Notte has been health checked for hips, elbows, spine and eyes and all are healthy. Also dna-tests has been done and he is clear of Alaskan malamute polyneuropahty, Cone degeneration and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. Notte is normal coated and he don't carry the long coat gene.
